Our mission is not just to save the
lives of dogs, but also to fulfill your needs. Before we even begin searching
local shelters, we meet with your entire family for an in-home consultation.
This informal gathering is our way of getting to know you and understanding
what your hopes and desires are in a dog. Together we will envision your ideal
dog.
The
Search Begins
Once we know what you are looking
for, we can begin visiting local shelters searching for a dog that suits your
needs. This process can take a few days or several weeks.
Assess-A-Pet
Meet & Greet
Once we have a potential adoptee for
you—a dog that we think matches the traits you have specified—it is now time
for your family and the shelter dog to be introduced. This is your opportunity
to decide if this is the dog for you.
Happily ever after!
Now that the adoption is finalized and the newest member of the
family is settling in, we will plan a follow up visit to answer any of your
questions and to ensure a smooth transition for all.
